Day 1/2 - Singapore ✈️ Tokyo 🚎 Nagano (L/D)

  • Upon arrival at Tokyo, transfer to Nagano
  • Zenkoji Temple – was founded in the 7th century and stores the first Buddhist statue ever to be brought into Japan when Buddhism was first introduced in the 6th century

Day 3 - Nagano 🚎 Jigokudani 🚎 Nagano (B/L/D)

  • Jigokudani Monkey Parkoffers visitors the unique experience of seeing wild monkeys bathing in a natural hot spring. The park is inhabited by Japanese Macaques, which are also known as Snow Monkeys
  • Zenkoji Omotesando & Gondo Shopping Street – shop local delicacies or souvenirs

Day 4 - Nagano 🚎 Togakushi 🚎 Nagano (B/L/D)

  • Tonkururin Soba Museum – Learn about the history of Soba & experience soba-making
  • Visit two or three of the five Togakushi Shrines – Okusya Shrine, Chusya Shrine, or the Hinomikosha Shrine

Day 5 - Nagano🚎 Matsumoto (B/L/D)

  • Daio Wasabi Farmthe largest Wasabi farm in Japan
  • Experience making Wasabizuke a dish made of wasabi leaves, wasabi stems and sake lees
  • Matsumoto Castle – 1 of Japan’s 12 original castles and is said to be the oldest surviving castle tower in Japan
  • Matsumoto Timepiece Museum – Home to Japan’s largest pendulum clock and over 300 other timepieces

Day 6 - Matsumoto 🚅 Nikko (B/D)

  • Shinkansen (Japan bullet train) from Matsumoto to Nikko. Lunch will be eki-ben(to) at self-expense!

Day 7 - Nikko (B/L/D)

  • Chuzenji Lake – Japan’s highest elevation natural lake, located just west of Nikko
  • Kegon Waterfalls – Almost 100 meter tall, Kegon Waterfall is the most famous of Nikko’s waterfalls
  • Nikko Toshogu Shrine – a UNESCO World Heritage site, enshrines the most famous samurai leader Tokugawa Ieyasu

Day 8 - Nikko 🚎 Tokyo (B)

  • After breakfast, transfer to Tokyo
  • Free and easy upon arrival in Tokyo

Day 9 - Tokyo ✈️ Singapore (B)

  • After breakfast, departure to Singapore
