Day 1 - Singapore ✈️ Colombo (L/D)
- Do City tour of Colombo & shopping – Explore Pettah’s Floating Market for a unique retail experience, or catch the energy of the emerging Colombo Port City with its parks, malls, and future F1 track. Don’t miss the scenic drive along Bauddhaloka Mawatha to the ‘Arcade’ near historic Independence Square
- Gangarama Temple – one of the most prominent and historically significant Buddhist temples in Colombo, Sri Lanka. It’s a blend of modern architecture and cultural heritage, and it’s both a place of worship and a center for learning and community service
Day 2 - Colombo 🚎 Anuradhapura (about 4.5 hours) (B/L/D)
- Jethawana Stupa – one of the tallest stupas in the world, built by King Mahasena in Anuradhapura, symbolizing Buddhist devotion and architectural brilliance
- Abhayagiriya – an ancient Buddhist monastery complex founded by King Valagamba in the 1st century BC and served as a prominent center for Buddhist learning and meditation
- Isurumuniya – a Buddhist temple famous for its rock-cut temple with carved reliefs depicting scenes from Buddhist mythology
- Twin Ponds (Kuttam Pokuna) – a marvel of ancient hydraulic engineering, these symmetrical ponds were used by Buddhist monks for bathing
- Samadhi Buddha Statue – a serene and meditative statue of Lord Buddha in the Dhyana Mudra, symbolizing deep concentration and inner peace
Day 3 - Anuradhapura (B/L/D)
- Transfer to the temple near Anuradhapura where the charity project took place
- Visit Samadhi Maha Viharaya
- Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi – a sacred fig tree believed to be the southern branch of the Bodhi tree under which Lord Buddha attained enlightenment. It is one of the oldest living trees in the world and a revered pilgrimage site for Buddhists
- Ruwanwelisaya – a stupa built by King Dutugemunu in the 2nd century BC and is considered one of the tallest ancient monuments in the world. Ruwanwelisaya is an important pilgrimage site for Buddhists and is known for its architectural grandeur and spiritual significance
Day 4 - Anuradhapura 🚎 Mihintale (30 mins) 🚎 Kandy (45 mins) (B/L/D)
- After breakfast, proceed to Mihintale
- Climb the ancient stone stairways past cooling fountains, ruins of a hospital, and the 1st-century B.C. Kantaka Stupa. Explore the serene courtyard, discover the old refractory, and take in the sacred highlights— Maha Seya and Aradana Gala, offering stunning views over the ancient Kingdom of Lakes
- City tour of Kandy – A stroll across this small lakeside town, bundled with latest and world class brands, bazaar, an arts & crafts centre, as well as a gem museum & lapidary. Walk in colour as you glide through fresh fruits and vegetables in the Kandy market
Day 5 - Kandy (B/L/D)
- After breakfast drive to Sri Sanghananda Buddhist institute Harankahawa Kandy for Dana offerings
- Kandy Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic – Within the royal palace complex of the ancient Kingdom of Kandy, the Sri Dalada Maligawa (or the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic) is a Buddhist temple that is home to the tooth relic of Lord Buddha
Day 6 - Kandy 🚎 Koggala (5 hours) (B/L/D)
- After breakfast proceed to South beach for a Galle City Tour
Day 7 - Koggala 🚎 Mirissa (45 mins) 🚎 Colombo (3 hours) (B/L/D)
- After breakfast, drive to Mirissa for whale watching
- Head to Dondra Point – one of the world’s top spots for whale and dolphin watching. You might also spot flying fish, turtles, manta rays, and even sharks—all in one unforgettable ocean adventure
- Drive to Colombo – take a wash & change before reach to the airport
- After dinner, drive to Airport for your flight back
Day 8 - Colombo ✈️ Singapore
