DAY 1 SINGAPORE  BEIJING

Upon arrival, our local representative will meet and greet you and transfer for lunch. After that, visit Temple of Heaven, also known as “TianTan”. Constructed in 1420 as a venue for emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties to pray to heaven for good harvests, it is well known for its unique, elegant ornamented architectural structures and the well-furnished layouts. New Capital Museum is a modern museum which possesses advanced facilities. It is a large-scale modern culture spot, being invested by Beijing government. Most exhibitions are the collection of museum and unearthed relics of Beijing. In the evening, enjoy the world famous acrobatic show performance.

DAY 2 BEIJING

We will take in the splendor of ancient China beginning with a tour of the Tiananmen Square. Tiananmen Square is located in the center of the city, covering an area of 400,000sq.m. It is the first largest public square in the world. It was the front gateway to the imperial palace in the Ming and Qing dynasties. Palace Museum is located behind of the square, also known as “Forbidden City”. It is the largest and best-preserved cluster of ancient buildings in China. It was home to two dynasties of emperors, the Ming and the Qing. It has 9,000 halls and rooms containing many precious relics and one of mankind’s major cultural legacies. Jingshan Park is located in center axis of the city and the screen of the palace. Thus, the geomancer called it “guard hill”. You can see the whole scenery of Forbidden City when you climb on to the top of Jingshan Park. Continue to visit Front Door Antique Street and New Xiushui Market and an outer view of National Grand Theater. “The Place” – an 80,000 sq. m shopping mall. There is also a 250m long and 30m wide sky screen, which is the biggest LED screen in the world. It is one of the most advanced media and advertising tools in the world.

DAY 3 BEIJING

This morning, start our tour by visiting one of the wonders of Ancient World, the awe-inspiring Great Wall ~ Juyonguan Great Wall. The Great Wall, one of the greatest architectural works built in ancient China, stretches some 6,000km from the Shanhaiguan Pass in the east to the Jiayuguan Pass in the west. The section at Badaling, 80 km north of Beijing, was reconstructed in the Ming Dynasty and was once an important pass of the wall. At the foot of Mt. Tianshou lie the famed tombs of 13 Ming emperors. Upon succeeding to the throne, Zhu Di (also known as Emperor Yongle) moved China’s capital to Beijing and in 1409, the 7th year of his reign, commissioned his tomb to be built in the outskirts of the new capital. His successors built their own tombs in the vicinity of Zhu Di’s, and, by the end of the dynasty, in an area of 40sqkm, a final tally of 13 emperors, 23 empresses, 8 concubines, and 1 prince were all bedded down. We will visit the tomb of Emperor Zhu Di and his empresses, which is also the most magnificent of all tombs. After dinner, visit Wangfujing Street and Donghuamen Night Market. You can get a variety of products as well as local food and snacks.

DAY 4 BEIJING  CHENGDE

After breakfast, drive to Chengde. Upon arrival, visit Aifeibao Winery. Here you will be shown their production line of Red Wine and brief on its manufacturing process. You will also have the chance to taste their Red Wine.

DAY 5 CHENGDE  TIANJIN

After breakfast, visit the famous “Mountain Hamlet for Escaping the Heat”- Imperial Summer Resort. It is the largest imperial summer resort in China and consists of a palace hall and scenery area. Next, visit Little Potala Palace and Xumifushou Monastery. Little Potala Palace was built during the reign of Emperor Qianlong to impress the visiting Sixth Panchen Lama of Tibet. After visit, transfer to Tianjin.

Start tour today with the Five Avenues (On horse carriage) and see more than 230 buildings of various styles from England, France, Italy, Germany and Spain. Also, visit the Italian Concessions Area which incorporates various styles of buildings from different periods of Italy, most of which being former residence of modern and contemporary historical celebrities. Next, visit the Shi’s Grand Mansion, originally the residence of Shi Yuanshi, the fourth son of Shi Fangcheng, one of the Eight Great Families of Tianjin City. It is a large scale civil residence with unique features of Qing Dynasty and is titled as the No.1 Residence of North China. After which, return to Beijing by high speed train.

DAY 7 BEIJING

This morning, visit Summer Palace, an imperial garden in tradition Chinese style. This is the largest imperial palace and garden complex in China. It was the emperor’s playground, within are 3,000 halls, pavilions, towers, courtyards and more. Within also are the famousLongevity Hill and Kunming Lake. Thereafter, proceed to the 2008 Olympics Stadium ~Bird Nest (Visit) and National Aquatic Centre (View). Lastly do some shopping at theYaxiu Market. After dinner, be transferred to airport for departure flight back to Singapore.
