Itinerary

01 SINGAPORE  COLOMBO  NEGOMBO

Assemble at Singapore Changi International Airport for your flight to Colombo. Upon arrival, drive to Negombo where you will stay for the night.

02 NEGOMBO  PINNAWELA  POLONNARUWA

Leave for Polonnaruwa in the morning. Enroute, visit Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage where abandoned and wounded elephants are housed. After lunch, proceed to Polonnaruwa the second most ancient of Sri Lanka’s kingdoms.  Polonnaruwa is a UNESCO world heritage site which contains the largest shrine ruins and splendid & spectacular statues.

03 POLONNARUWA  SIGIRIYA  DAMBULLA  SIGIRIYA

After breakfast, visit Sigiriya the ancient rock fortress. One of the finest monuments of art & culture. (*no climbing of rock included) Following that, visit the famous Dambulla Cave Temple. Labelled as a UNESCO World heritage site,  this sacred cave monastery is the largest & best-preserved cave-temple complex in the whole of Sri Lanka.

04 SIGIRIYA  MATALE  KANDY

In the morning, head to Matale and visit the Spice Garden and Batik Factory. Following that, head to the town of Kandy a World Heritage Site & last royal capital of Sri Lankan kings. There you can experience an array of culture, history and heritage. Enjoy a city tour. Visit the Upper Lake Drive, Market Square, Arts & Crafts Centre, Gem Lapidary and Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic.

05 KANDY  PERADENIYA  TEA PLANTATION  NUWARA ELIYA

After breakfast, heaad to Peradeniya to visit the Royal Botanical Gardens which houses more than 5000 species of plants. Thereafter, travel to Nuwara Eliya. Enroute, visit the Tea estate and factory. Nuwara Eliya known to be the little England of Sri Lanka. Set against the beautiful backdrop of mountains, valleys and waterfalls, it also has many hints of British influence in its architecture.

06 NUWARA ELIYA  KITULGALA  WADDUWA OR BENTOTA

Travel to Kitulgala a small town in western Sri Lanka. Visit the Kelani River the broadest river in Sri Lanka and also the filming location of Oscar winning movie “The Bridge over the River Kwai”. Thereafter, travel to Wadduwa or Bentota for your night’s stay.

07 WADDUWA OR BENTOTA  COLOMBO

After breakfast, travel to Colombo. Upon arrival, enjoy free time for the rest of the day.

08 COLOMBO

In the morning, start your Colombo city tour. Visit the Cinnamon Gardens, Sea Street, Former British administrative center and military garrison. Lastly, enjoy some shopping at Odel for some designer wear and visit Barefoot for some toys, bags and other apparel. After dinner head to the airport for your flight back to Singapore.
