Assemble at Singapore Changi International Airport for your flight to Colombo. Upon arrival, drive to Negombo where you will stay for the night.


After breakfast, proceed to Anuradhapura. Along the way, visit Padeniya Temple, an ancient temple which houses a seated Buddha and the walls are carved with paintings. Following that, visit Yapahuwa Rock Fortress which has been used by Buddhist Bhikkus since 2nd C.A.D.  Many traces of other ancient defences are still seen, an ornamental stairway remains as the main piece.

Today, tour Anuradhapura, The ruins of the capital of an ancient Sri Lanka civilization. Sites of interest there include: Old stone bridge, Western monasteries, Asokaramaya, Alms Hall at Abayagiriya, Museum, Royal Palace, Dalada Maligawa, Vessagiriya caves, Sacred Bo Tree , Brazen Palace, Ratna Prasada. Following that, continue to Mihintale the cradle of Buddhism in Sri Lanka. The site where Buddhism was first introduced into Sri Lanka.

In the morning, proceed to Polonnaruwa the second most ancient of Sri Lanka’s kingdoms.  Polonnaruwa is a UNESCO world heritage site which contains the largest shrine ruins and splendid & spectacular statues.

After breakfast, visit Sigiriya the ancient rock fortress. One of the finest monuments of art & culture. (*no climbing of rock included) Following that, visit the famous Dambulla Cave Temple. Labelled as a UNESCO World heritage site,  this sacred cave monastery is the largest & best-preserved cave-temple complex in the whole of Sri Lanka.

In the morning, proceed to Aluvihara Temple. In 2nd century BC, Aluvihara Temple was the place where the Buddhist scriptures were committed to writing by monks.  Though there are many Buddha statues and paintings here, it was only until recently that many tourists visit this place. Following that, visit the town of Kandy a World Heritage Site & last royal capital of Sri Lankan kings. There you can experience an array of culture, history and heritage. Also visit the Temple of the sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha.

In the morning, take a walk in Kandy City Centre which features the latest brands, bazaars, local arts & crafts centre, as well as fresh fruits and vegetables in the Kandy market. then visit BellanwilaRajamaha Viharaya, famous for worshipping the sacred Bodhi Tree which was believed to be one of the first offshoots of Jaya Sri Mahabodhi in Anuradhapura. Following that head back to Colombo for a city tour. Visit the Cinnamon Gardens, Sea Street, Former British administrative center and military garrison. Lastly, enjoy some shopping at Odel for some designer wear and visit Barefoot for some toys, bags and other apparel.
