1 Singapore  Beijing  Urumqi

Take your flight to Urumqi via Beijing. Upon arrival, visit the International Grand Bazaar, One of the largest bazaar in the world. Rest for the night.


2 Urumqi  Korla

After breakfast, continue on the tour of Xinjiang. Visit Dabancheng Wind Power Station China’s largest wind power station. Also visit Qigexing Buddhist Temple Ruins a ruined compound of Buddhist religious site, believed to have been a major religious center along the northern Silk route. Lastly, visit Iron Gate Pass. The pass was of historical strategical significance because it formed a vulnerable bottle-neck on the Silk Road.

3 Korla  Kuqa

In the morning, visit the Kizil Caves believed to be the earliest major Buddhist cave complex in China, occurred between the 3rd and 8th centuries A.D. under the ancient Kingdom of Kucha. Following that, visit the Mystic Grand Canyon of Tianshan Famous for its russet rocks formed by wind and rain over millions of years.

4 Kuqa  Desert Highway  Minfeng

Start the tour visiting Taklamakan Desert China’s largest desert, situated in the middle of the largest Basin, Tarimin Xinjiang Province. This is also reputed to be the world’s second largest shifting-sand desert.

5 Minfeng  Hotan

After breakfast, visit the Damagou Buddhism Cultural Relic Site the smallest temple ever found in the West Regions. It contributed to our understanding of Buddhist beliefs and mural technique in the region of ancient Khotan. Also visit the Ancient Walnut Tree King a 560-year old wal nut tree and Hotan Night Market the Biggest Night Market in Southern Xinjiang.

6 Hotan  Shache  Kashgar

Spend some time on the road today. Visit Amannisahan Tomb Famous for its exquisite and splendid decoration, it was first built in 1533. Thereafter arrive at Kashgar for your night rest.

7 Kashgar  Tashkorgan

Visit the Pamir Mountain Area which serves as the junction of several important mountain ranges, most notably the Karakorum, Himalaya and Tian Shan Mountains. There, visit Karakul Lake. At altitude of 3600m, it is the highest lake of the Pamir plateau. Thereafter, visit Tashkurgan Stone City with 2,000 years history as a major caravan stop along the Silk Road. Lastly enjoy the Golden Grasslands where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery surrounding the Pamir Mountains.
