Itinerary

01 Singapore  Delhi

On arrival meet up with our local tour guide. Then, transfer to the hotel for rest.

02 Delhi  Agra

Drive to Agra & visit world famous Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Mughal Emperors Shah Jehan built this Marble monument of love in 1653 in memory of his beloved Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. The construction work took 17 years to be completed (1631-1648) with 20 thousand workers. Also visit to Agra Fort, a red sand stone fort built by Akbar the Great in 1565.  After tour, visit to Marble Factory.

03 Agra  Jaipur

Early morning, drive to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri, a city built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 now deserted but still in the state of perfect preservation. Jaipur is a blaze of brilliant colors and pulsating with life. Proud turbaned and handsome men along with gorgeously costumed women are a common sight in this royal land. After lunch, visit Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds (stop for picture taking only when traffic condition is allowed). It was built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh and was a Royal Grandstand for Palace Woman.

04 Jaipur

Morning visit the Jantar Mantar – Royal observatory raised in the 18th Century by Astronomer King Jai Singh. Also visit City Palace and the famous Amber Fort, capital of the state for six centuries before Jaipur was built. It is set on a steep hill and the palace is laid down at different levels on hillsides and encircled by fortress. Enjoy the Elephant ride up to the fort. After which, enjoy shopping in Jaipur, which is famous for gems.

05 Jaipur  Bikaner

After breakfast, drive to Bikaner (320 km), founded by Rao Bikaji in 1488, one of the descendants of Jodhaji of Jodhpur. In fact the town derives its name from its founder. After traversing this part of the Thar Desert, one arrives at the fortified city of Bikaner. Check-in hotel and followed by city tour of Junagarh Fort, built between 1588 A.D and 1593 A.D and the City Palace.

06 Bikaner  Jaisalmer

Early Morning depart for 6-7 hours journey to Jaisalmer (A city which looks like Arabian Night). This 12th century inhabited Fort City built by Rawal Jaisal with exquisite stone work in typical yellow sandstone. This drive gives you a glimpse of a typical desert lifestyle with thatched hutment’s, camels & sand dunes strew from horizon to horizon. Upon arrival, check in to Hotel.

07 Jaisalmer

Jaisalmer rises from the heart for the Thar Desert, look like a Golden Mirage. After breakfast visit Jain Temples Gadisar Tank, Fort, Patewon Ki Haveli, Nathmaljiki Haveli and Salim Singh’s Haveli. Afternoon excursion to Sam Sand Dunes – here you can enjoy the camel ride and witness the sunset against the Sand Dunes, a spectacular sight.

08 Jaisalmer  Jodhpur

After breakfast drive to Jodhpur (300kms) – the blue hued city of the Rathore Rajputs, overlooking Mehrangarh Fort. Late afternoon visit the Mehrangarh fort. Its interesting palaces and collection of cannons is impressive; here we also visit Jaswant Thanda, a collection of Royal cenotaps that also hold potraits of the rulers of Jodhpur & enjoy a breathtaking view of the city of Jodhpur from its ramparts.

09 Jodhpur  Udaipur

Morning drive to Udaipur (259 km). Enroute, visit Ranakpur Temple, which is the most exquisite and important Jain temple in India. Arrive late in the Lake City of Udaipur.

10 Udaipur

Udaipur was founded by Maharaja Udai Singh in 1567 AD and today is still very much a traditional Rajput Town, better know as the City of Lakes. Palaces set in a valley amidst the Aravalli Hills in Southern Rajasthan, on the banks of Lake Pichola. It is known as Marble City. Visit to the Grand City Palace a majestic architectural marvel towering over the Pichola Lake, Jagdish Temple, Pratap Museum, and Saheliyon Ki Bari Gardens, with its delicately carved kiosks and fountains. Enjoy the boat ride in Lake Pichola.

11 Udaipur  Delhi  Singapore

Transfer to airport for domestic flight to Delhi. On arrival, proceed combined tour of Old & New Delhi, visiting INDIA GATE – a 42m high memorial arch   After dinner, transfer to international airport for flight back home.
